| The Wastelands are a boggy marsh with varying terrain. Some areas are dry and rocky, while areas near Tar Lake are boggy. The flora consists of Shortgrass, reeds, and mutated trees. It has a temperate climate with high variation. The air is toxic, but not imminently dangerous. Near the southern Wastelands is Tar Lake. Its origins trace back to centuries of decaying plant matter under heat and pressure. Over the past years, machines and additive chemicals have artificially accelerated this process to increase material harvesting. Citizens work in manual labor jobs, such as mining, excavating, filtering materials, basic construction, and processing low-grade materials. Many materials include basic electronics, basic metal cubes, basic construction items, or isolating certain chemical compounds to ship out to the Fabrication Centers.
