Series Timeline
The mainline chronology of the Dolpheverse — from the fall of the ancient floating city of Eris, through the founding of Team Cascade, to the war between Xender's Acatrya and HHyper's H-Nation that plays out across the main series levels. Dates are given in the in-universe calendar (IC).
Before Everything
Before everything began, there was an ancient civilization known as Eris. This floating city had technological capabilities to manipulate the world to their desires.
And yet, Eris eventually fell. The city perhaps collapsed, or exploded in a beautiful supernova, scattering it's fragments across the world. The society is no more, but remnants of their technology still remain.
↳ ??? years later
The Daily Dolphe
Dolphe, alongside a few friends, establishes “The Daily Dolphe,” an independent news agency focused on delivering truth. Icon Leaders Xender and HHyper represent the first meeting between Acatrya and H-Nation (the two major nations), after 90 years of silence.
They both vow to a mutualistic society, and an equal division of rights over Eris remains in place.
↳ 8 years later
Ocellios Labs
Xender secures a private deal with Stubby, the founder of Ocellios Labs, for exclusive research rights. Ocellios Labs is the frontier of new technology — all modern infrastructure relied on it. Everyone relied on it.
Yet the lab is intertwined with controversy, related to Eris-tech and experimentation. Acatrya is also no stranger to controversy, being exposed for government cover-ups and extreme social stratification.

Glacier 15
Glacier 15, a once-thriving city, is reduced to frozen rubble from a cover-up of an unknown “incident.” One survivor is Josh, who lost his home and realizes the corruption of Xender's regime.
Shortly after, Xender shuts down The Daily Dolphe, which rebrands to “Team Cascade.” Team Cascade is an independent military organization that opposes Xender's regime.

Escape from VCRF
[Subject 29], a captured member of Team Cascade, escapes the VCRF prison unit and leads a bold attempt to escape. [Subject 29] intended to escape with HHyper's plans to occupy Ocellios Lab, but quickly realized his death was inevitable.
He sacrificed himself to transmit the files to Team Cascade.

Destruction Eruption
[Player] wakes up in the middle of Ocellios Lab in disarray. Stubby's mechs have been hacked. Wielding electricity powers, [Player] neutralizes the mechs and escapes the crumbling lab, ending up east of Ocellios Lab — where the permafrost city of Glacier 15 leaves [Player] in a perilous situation.
HHyper successfully executes phase 1 of Operation: Ocellios Extraction.

Glacier 15 & Prologue
Team Cascade is investigating the ruined city of Glacier 15, two years after the incident. Members on the operation include Dolphe, Nebula, Gostley, Andy, Virtual, and others. An anomaly appears on Team Cascade's radar, so Dolphe sends Nebula and Gostley to investigate.
Meanwhile, [Player] treads through the frozen terrain. Famished, a beacon appears in the distance — Team Cascade's base. [Player] makes their way to the beacon, powering heat beacons to survive, and soon makes contact with Nebula and Gostley. A mechanical worm emerges, tearing through the icy landscape and unleashing its energy blasts. After narrowly escaping the worm, [Player] joins Team Cascade at their base.

War Declared
Xender declares war on HHyper following an investigation incriminating HHyper in the destruction of Ocellios Labs. In return, HHyper swears to eradicate Xender and his nation, threatening the use of a “superweapon” if Xender does not surrender the Void Crevasse and Ocellios Labs.
Meanwhile, HHyper continues to send H-Nation forces to maintain control over Ocellios Labs.

Operation Wastelands
After joining Team Cascade, [Player] and other Cascade members representing [SQUAD 1] are sent to protect and rescue strikers, protesters, and rioters in The Wastelands. Meanwhile, Stubby expresses frustration to Xender over Ocellios Lab and the escaped “vessel.” Boss John sends mechs to eliminate the dissenters, but runs into trouble with Team Cascade.
After destroying a mech, Team Cascade retreats to Terra Dock, receiving word that [SQUAD 2] has successfully retrieved a Xendium supercomputer — and that a move on Xender will soon be needed.
↳ Same time
Mission Hellfire
Team Cascade sends [Caliper] and other Cascade members representing [SQUAD 2] to investigate a lab in the Hotlands. Meanwhile, Xender sends Thedoggyp and others to secure the Xendium Lab, a center for supercomputer research.
Squad 2 and Xender's squad collide, but after clumsily taking down mechs and Thedoggyp, Squad 2 escapes with Xender's supercomputer — which will be used to decrypt Subject 29's files.
↳ 2 days later
Ocellios Fortified
HHyper executes phase 2 of Operation: Ocellios Extraction, sending Eidolons Broskm, NF, and Duko to fortify Ocellios Labs while Team Cascade and Xender are occupied. They rewire defense systems, close entry paths, and secure research.
The Eidolons plan to salvage any Eris-tech they find and wield the mechs to their command, routing important artifacts and blueprints back to H-Nation via the train system. Meanwhile, the captured supercomputer continues its decryption.
↳ 2 weeks later
From the Depths
Frustrated after their loss in The Wastelands, Xender tasks Boss John with locating Team Cascade's base. The two develop a supermassive driller to explore the Voidcrest Desert.
Upon seeing airships gather near the Voidlands, Dolphe sends Virtual and a squad to scout potential plans to sink Xender's airship. They are intercepted by the driller and forced into a do-or-die scenario. After dismantling the driller, the Cascade squad retreats to the Outpost — but not unseen by Xender and H-Nation operators.
↳ 6 days later
Operation Voidlands
Xender flies over the Voidlands in his goliath airship, “Acatrya's Queen.” He meets with Stubby, who expresses frustration that Xender's repeated failures have soured their business relationship.
Meanwhile, Team Cascade launches an attack, Voidwarping hundreds of Cascade ships. [Player] leads the infiltration, and Cascade collectively blows up the ship. [Player] engages Xender in a duel, interrupted by HHyper, who takes it upon himself to slay Xender. [Player] falls from the sky, consumed into the flaming wreckage of Acatrya's Queen.
↳ Same time
Ocellios
Team Cascade uses the battle of the Voidlands as a diversion to infiltrate Ocellios Lab. [Dolphe] leads a small team of specialists to regain control of the lab. The Eidolons, aware of the plan, prepare to escape with their research on the transport train.
Team Cascade and [Dolphe] Voidwarp near the lab, dismantling mechs. Duko initiates a full retreat to the transport train; Dolphe narrowly makes it aboard and battles NF, eventually destroying him. The transport train still escapes, however, carrying “the superweapon” with it. HHyper is seen analyzing the blueprint to “Project Novaform.” Afterward, Team Cascade regroups to prepare for retaliation.
↳ 2 days later
Project Novaform
After the events of Ocellios, Team Cascade regroups, salvaging the remains of Acatrya's Queen and aiding survivors. Cascade notices [Player] is missing and undetectable. Meanwhile, Duko and Broskm deliver the “superweapon” to HHyper — a core that can power Project Novaform.
On the morning of Aug 26, H-Nation invades the Outpost, unleashing Project Novaform with it. [Dolphe] and the rest of Cascade take down HHyper's forces, including Bli, HHyper's Eidolon of frost. Meanwhile, Stubby captures the Vessel, planning to “bring a new era to this world.” Boss John unexpectedly finds HHyper.
↳ ? days later
Mk2
After the events of Project Novaform, Stubby emerges in Entrospire City. Stubby proceeds with merging their consciousness, allowing them to remotely control [Player].
Stubby, now en route to Eris, takes control of [Player] to execute the remaining Xender Administration — namely Dorve and Samuel.
↳ ? days later
Abyssnia
H-Nation, Acatrya forces, Team Cascade, and Stubby's redacted redacted converge on Abyssnia.
[Player] is a self-insert — a cat icon rendered in the player's chosen colors. Other [bracketed names] mark codenamed or unconfirmed identities. Adapted from the official Series Timeline and Summary slides.
