| Spear of Severance is a secret one-time-use weapon manufactured by Team Cascade. The blueprints to construct it were unveiled during the Glacier 15 investigation. The premise is fairly simple: a deceivingly simple spear, but never used for actual close-quarter combat. Instead, the tip of the spear is entirely filled with volatile void matter. Upon contact with velocity in a certain direction, the void is ignited by a unique chemical compound in a separate chamber in the spearhead. This compound is formed by first distilling the tar from Tar Lake. Then, react that compound with hexafrozide under high heat until it turns into a blue paste. Due to the void matter’s unique response to velocity, the Spear of Severance is an extremely effective tool of mass destruction. When detonating, the reaction will emit a high-energy beam, reacting all the void matter into pure energy that vaporizes an entire cylindrical cone around 0.5km from the contact point. Used as an experimental last resort in the Project Novaform incident, when Dolphe was struggling to fight Bli. |   |
